Hello Everybody!
So you might be wondering what the status of Issue 2 is? Because I know I have haha!
everything was going grand until after 2 months of working on the title, my colorist annoucned he was moving to New Zeland and would not be finishing the comic (After I paid for the work) this was a huge set back for me, as I don't have anybody backing this- I pay for the creation of comics from my day job which I work as much overtime at to do this as possible.
But hey, it wouldn't be an indy comic if there were not set backs!
On the plus side, I've been using the time to develop skills in lettering and coloring comics. I have hired a colorist to continue Issue 2 and it's looking pretty grand so far, and I will be lettering this issue myself. My hope is to color myself in the future as well!
As of right now the date of issue 2 is set for late june or early July. Hopefully very son because I have stories to tell you guys!

Here is our first review, from Ain't it cool news!
"It’s been a while since I’ve read a story about an honest to gosh newbie super hero cutting his teeth and learning the ropes. This is one of those stories.
Sure, Turbulence isn’t a super hero name that’ll strike fear in the hearts of villains and readers alike, but that’s kind of the point here. Writer Chris Garrett illustrates pretty well how tough it is be a hero and even make a proper entrance of a super hero. New territory isn’t blazed with this book, but it is a fun ride.
The internal criticism and low self esteem was somewhat refreshing to read since most mainstream heroes are either winking at the reader or sneering at him for liking comics in the first place. The straight forward approach to TURBULENCE is fun and worth checking out."

We have our second review from Broken Frontier! -Warning it has spoilers for issue 1! -
Posting some of the highlights below!
"What makes this book a bit different, even a bit special, are the unfortunate circumstances that surround the comic’s main character and namesake: Jacob Warrenford, a.k.a. Turbulence.
This rogue teen once grew up as a docile lay-about that would snooze wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted. It wasn’t until tragedy struck his pilot father that Jacob was shaken awake to realize life was something he had to take a hold of for himself. This isn’t an Uncle Ben copout; the beginning pages that reveal the main character’s origins are my favorite in the book."

Here is a review from Steven at Small Press Comics!
""Like I mentioned earlier, this idea has seen thousands of iterations, so new books really have to have something unique about them to keep my interest. I think the omnipotent stranger may very well do that for this title, and I’m very interested in seeing where this plot-thread goes. He seems to have created all of these superheroes for his own reasons, and simply desires to see what happens when people are driven by different urges. This could lead to some rather interesting stories if that is the way the team plans to take the book."
